Another mighty 12" on this increasingly good label, finding these two new
acts (first showcased on the excellent `Forma' label compilation) given a
split platform for their special streak japanese beats and electronic
constructions. The sound is divided between a rusting hip hop malfunction
and 2050 advanced IDM intersections that fall under the Autechre
appreciation tag but with a deep Japanese slant. This is electronic music
that sticks to the principle of bass domination with a feeling of constant
robotic schizophrenia - a discordant mesh of beats and Sfx designed to move
